PHASE OUT STYROFOAM CAMPAIGN

ORGANIZATION NEEDS:

• local businesses are still using styrofoam to-go packaging despite that these containers are not good for the community's health and are detrimental to the environment

​

DESIGN THINKING:

​

• suggest better alternatives to businesses

​

• teach youth volunteers how to prepare and implement a campaign on phasing out styrofoam

​

​

MY TAKEAWAY:

​

• a disadvantaged community cannot worry about the environment if their basic needs are not met

​

• the youth need to learn important tech skills to prosper and stay advanced in the digital realm.
